Free Plant Seeds Distributed to Tidung Island Citizens

The seed house located next to the Tidung Island Urban Village Office in South Thousand Islands distributes seedlings to citizens for free.

To get seeds for free, citizens must register first

It also aims to make it easier for citizens to find and plant trees, as well as conduct greenery.

"This seed house managed by PKK movement team serves to breed various types of plants thus the availability of seeds on Tidung Island continues," said Tidung Island Urban Village Head, Cecep Suryadi, Thursday (1/9).

Locals will also receive compost made in the form of compost which is self made through a composter management site (TPS) behind the urban village office.

"To get seeds for free, citizens must register first as it will be monitored related to coaching and continuation," he explained.

To water the plants to keep the seeds alive, PKK cadres must utilize AC waste water.

The types of plants or trees that have been carried out among them, breadfruit, bougainvillea, Suji leaves, pandanus fragrance, red buds, ginger, turmeric, greetings, lemongrass, dragon fruit, chili, mangrove, guava, tin, aloe vera, banyan white, betel and moringa.
